Katie graduated from St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. She then worked as a General Dentist in London and a Senior House Officer in Oral Maxillofacial Facial Surgery in King’s College London. In 2012, Katie completed her membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. Following this, she undertook a postgraduate qualification achieving her Diploma in Dental Implantology at the Eastman Dental Hospital, UCL London.

Through her extensive experience at a specialist clinic in London, she is able to provide a full range of dental and implant solutions, from a single implant to full arch implant restorations and Teeth In A Day (also known as All-on-4) protocols, using Nobel Biocare implants. She can also utilise bone grafting techniques and has completed further training at The Malo Clinic, Lisbon and Urban Regen Institute, Budapest.

Alex is our dedicated manager. He works behind the scenes here at Blake Dental to support our outstanding team. Alex ensures we continue to meet and excel patient expectations by ensuring every patient experience here is the best it can be.

In his spare time Alex enjoys many activities including running, cycling, skiing and sailing as well as chasing after his 2 sons - Peter and Henry.

Rachel obtained her BDS from St Bartholomew and the Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, with honours in 2010. Since this, she has continued to develop her knowledge and skills studying with the world renowned Kois Center in Seattle. In addition to this, she is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons, Edinburgh, and also gained a Postgraduate Certificate with the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (UK) in Minor Oral Surgery.

Rachel is experienced in Invisalign and has recently completed an advanced aligners programme in 2021. Rachel is proficient in using SmileFast - the ground-breaking new development in Smile Design, Refinement of the Smile and provision of Smile Makeovers. This concept brings together the three essential facets of modern cosmetic dentistry: Orthodontics, Ceramics, and Composite.

Combing Invisalign and SmileFast to deliver life changing results meaning patients can reach the smile of their dreams, often in only a few months.

In addition to this, she is able to compliment your Smile Makeover with anti-ageing treatment options including Zein Obagi skin care, wrinkle relaxation, lip enhancement, and dermal fillers.

Erik joined us in 2021 and has become an integral part of the team here at Blake Dental. He graduated as a dentist in 1997 from Sweden and has worked in the East of England as a successful General Dentist for the last 25 years.

Erik’s calm and professional manner, as well as the wealth of experience he has accumulated in this time, makes him the perfect dentist for a wide range of dental treatments.

He is expanding his training to include advanced cosmetic procedures and dental implants, as well as continuing to see patients under the NHS, our practice plan and on a private basis.

In his spare time his family and boys keep him busy as well as enjoying reading and travelling.

Raveena qualified as a Dentist from Cardiff University in 2016. Following on from this, she expanded her surgical knowledge in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery unit at the Royal Free Hospital London that carries out a range of treatment from extraction of teeth to excision and reconstruction of head and neck cancer.

She has a keen interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry having undergone additional training in these areas. Raveena is skilled at providing Smile Makeovers and has trained in Advanced Composite Bonding techniques with the renowned Monik Vasant Institute. Raveena is also able to prescribe skincare products from the Dr Zein Obagi range. These can help to create truly healthy skin and are known to be the next generation of therapeutic skincare products and treatments (these are exclusively available through skin health professionals in doctor or dentist led clinics).

Raveena is especially popular with our anxious and dental phobic patients as she has a calm, reassuring and understanding manner that puts patients at ease.

She has taken part in dental charity trips to Honduras, Kenya and South Africa providing dental aid for communities in need.

As a Dental Therapist, Jessica is able to perform full dental exams and many dental treatments, referring to a dentist only for more complex treatment.

This is because as a qualified, experienced therapist she has undertaken training equivalent to the first 3 years of a dentist degree (in fact, many universities teach therapists at the same time).

Since graduating, she has undertaken further post-graduate education to hone her skills in teeth whitening, fillings and more advanced dental techniques.

When not at work, Jess enjoys cooking, going to the gym and spending time with her family & friends.

Sophie is our Dental Hygiene and Therapist who graduated from Kings College in London. She went on to achieve her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy Royal College of Surgeons of England in June 2015 achieving the Best Student in Child Therapy Award. She is a member of British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy (BSDHT).

Since graduating, Sophie has perfected her care of helping her patients manage their teeth and gums. Sophie’s outstanding communication skills and technique allow her to build excellent relationships with all her patients.

Jenny gained extensive dental nursing experience before qualifying as a Dental Hygienist. She has an in-depth knowledge of brushing and flossing techniques for each individual that she can effectively communicate with her patients. Jenny has a special interest in Teeth Whitening and Facial Aesthetics as well as working with patients through community outreach to support local hospices, homeless shelters and care homes.

Her caring but thorough approach ensures that her patients feel at ease whether it is for a routine appointment or a more extensive treatment. When she is not at work she enjoys many things including tennis and running around after her 2 boys and 2 boxer dogs.

Leanne is our Treatment Coordinator. She has a wealth of clinical experience though dental nursing that she brings to this role. Leanne achieved her National Certification in Dental Nursing in 2011 and her Certificate in Dental Sedation Nursing in 2016.

This allows her to effectively advise patients on their treatment options.

Leanne conducts initial consultations with patients on many treatments including dental implants, teeth straightening, smile makeover and teeth whitening. She will then become your first point of contact from initial enquiry, through financing your treatment to the completion of the treatment and beyond.

Our patients will also see Leanne at other points throughout their journey. She achieved her BDA Education Certificate in Dental Radiography in 2014 and has undergone iTero training allowing her to take CBCT scans and iTero scans to assist the dentist in planning your treatment.

Justyna is our Head Nurse here at Blake Dental. She is fully trained in taking X-rays & CBCT scans, assisting with sedation patients and dental implant treatments. These additional skills make her an important part of the patient care - ensuring our patients receive the best and most comfortable experience possible. Justyna’s professional and friendly manner help to put patients at ease at every stage of their journey with us.

Justyna lives with her family, including 3 daughters, in Witham and is part of the vibrant local community. Justyna often leads the introduction of new solutions in the practice as we strive to continually improve in everything we do.

Jenny is an experienced dental nurse with a background in dental nursing and dental practice management. This allows her to support and contribute to our aims and to continually improve the exceptional experiences that we deliver to our patients. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys reading, rock & roll dancing, walking and 1940/50s music and fashion.

Reegan has been the friendly face of Blake Dental since 2017. She is highly proficient and her calming manner at reception will put you at ease. Reegan can answer any of your queries and questions with a friendly smile. Reegan brings a welcoming ambience to the front desk.

Reegan has recently returned from maternity leave and Vienna certainly keeps her busy when not at work!

Since Chloe joined the team in 2021 she has made significant positive changes to the reception and waiting room area. She efficiently manages the complex ‘behind the scenes’ work at reception whilst also taking the time to get to know our patients and make them feel comfortable. In her spare time, Chloe enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going out for dinner, exploring new places/countries and enjoys cooking.

Tracy is an experienced dental receptionist having worked in the dental sector for over 20 years. She is a bright and friendly face at reception who can answer all your queries whether over the phone, by email or in person. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys gardening, reading and socializing. She is also a member of the local choir which she loves.

Ellie is a welcoming and enthusiastic member of our reception team. She takes the time to get to know our patients and can put any nervous or anxious patients at ease. When she is not at work she enjoys shopping, spending time with her family and walking her 3 dogs.
