I have been to dentists in and out of witham due to having a massive fear of the dentist, I was always trying to find somewhere who listens, understands my anxiety and tries their best to help, this dentist has everything lovely atmosphere, lovely receptionist, the dentist and dental nurse is sooo lovely very professional but kind and caring, so worth travelling too! So glad I moved to this one I really mean it :)

After a bad experience with a dentist at a different practice, I was dreading going to the dentist after moving into the area. I shouldn’t have worried, Katie and the team are absolutely fantastic. After an initial checkup, I needed some work done on a back tooth, the friendly environment made me feel relaxed and I didn’t feel a thing!

Katie kept me informed throughout the procedure and chatted away throughout to keep me calm and the whole thing was over in 10 minutes! Thanks to the great service and treatment, I no longer dread the dentist anymore and will be keeping Cairn Brae as my practice!

I moved to Witham in January 2020, but kept my original dentist in Sudbury as I know it's hard to join a new practice under NHS.

In September I cracked at tooth.

My own dentist gave me a long wait under a emergency appointment, so I looked at recommendations via Facebook as you normally get some good opinions.

I came across Cairn Brae Dental Practice which is now under new ownership.

I gave these guys a call to see if they could help me out.
I spoke to the receptionist who was friendly and very helpful and got me an appointment that day. I was in quite a bit of pain.

My Dentist that afternoon was Katie, I think she was the owner.
I'm not one for going to the dentist, but when I arrived, Katie made me feel at home and made the whole experience pleasant.

Katie explained everything from going through the X-rays and that after she had finished the dental treatment, I may still get some pain or sensation for a few days and not to worry, which she was correct.

I had to go back the next day, as after the anesthetic wore off, I had a slight touch of 2 teeth rubbing together.
I phoned the next day at about 08:40 and a hour later it was all sorted out.

I paid private for this treatment, which wasn't actually expensive in my eyes, but if you ever get stuck, it's worth a phone call.

The dentist also have NHS patiences as I asked, so if your thinking of going this way, it's worth putting your name down, as no vacancies yet.

They also do a private cover, which is actually is not bad at £14.05 a month.
looking at the options you get a fair amount included.

I can only comment on my dentist Katie that day. They do have 2 others at this practice.

All in all, I had a great experience and though they are under new ownership, I hope they continue to give the excellent service that they gave me that day.

After several months of my husband suffering with nerve pain which was so debilitating it affected his and my whole life. He was unable to work, eat and talk properly. We both lacked sleep and were unable to function which caused a lot of anxiety. In desperation I lost count of the dental practices I telephoned, we were even willing to travel to get some help but due to Covid 19 we were not able to get an appointment anywhere.

I then tried Cairn Brae and spoke to the lovely receptionist Regan who was not only sympathetic with our situation but was able to offer us an appointment the same day. We saw the dentist Katie who was equally as lovely and so very helpful. After investigation and X rays taken, Katie diagnosed Trigeminal Neuralgia and sent a letter over to our GP straight away. Our GP contacted us the same afternoon to inform us that a prescription had been sent over to the chemist for medication to collect and my husband was to start taking them as soon as possible.

Finally a breakthrough, we couldn't believe it and it is all down to Katie. We cannot tell you how happy and pleased we are with the efficiency, kindness & compassion that Cairn Brae have shown us. We have no hesitation in registering with this dental practice and we can fully recommend them.

Thank you so much for sorting me out at short notice. I've got an infection in my gum and they sent over a prescription really quickly. The receptionist (male) was very helpful and kept me informed when the pharmacy has received it.

We needed an emergency appointment, this was available same day at a time convenient. The appointment was straightforward, staff really pleasant and clear on the steps and treatment plan. Worked out very well, extremely happy.

Managed to find me a last minute appointment with their private dentist as I was due to go on holiday the same day. She came in early just to see to me and I’m so thankful she did. I had a root canal and filling and I never felt more pleased with dental work. She properly cleaned it, discussed my old dental work (which was awful) and I haven’t had any more problems since.

My wife and I have both had treatment at Cairn Brae Dental Practice. My wife had some excellent work done which included the fitting of a bridge. She is very pleased with the appearance of the bridge as it's impossible to tell that it is one!

Although I had only a small amount of work done, we both received the same professional attention to detail and pleasant service from the very personable Dr Katie Blake.

I have had several dentists and hygienists over the last ten years but Cairn Brae are the first to really do right by me. They spotted some issues which had been missed by other dentists and hygienists and have started to put my oral health right. Dr Katie is amazing with her quiet but professional manner. I felt completely at ease with her.

Their hygienist Sophie has done an incredible deep clean and left me confident about the future of my teeth. The whole team are refreshing, friendly and professional. Don’t hesitate to give them a look.

I would hugely recommend Cairn Brae dental practice. I have been petrified of the dentist since a young age and the Dentists and staff at this practice were very professional caring knowlegable thoughtful and really excelled in making me feel at ease. It's the first time I have been to the dentist on my own in 44 years. That's how good this practice is!! I would highly recommend this practice to everyone.

It's the best dentist I have ever been to and have actually overcome my fear of going which really says it all. So if your petrified nervous or just need a new dentist this is the practice for you.
